Nestled conveniently at 6903 S Durango Dr, this lively spot delivers hearty, satisfying dishes that cater to fans of bold flavors and welcoming spaces. Whether you’re cheering on your favorite team or enjoying a casual meal with friends, The George balances the energy of a bustling lounge with the comforts of an upscale American restaurant.

The menu boasts a diverse array of crowd-pleasers highlighting both traditional sports bar fare and elevated culinary twists. Imagine biting into their famously crispy, perfectly sauced Chicken Wings or savoring the rich, juicy Bacon Cheeseburger layered with melted American cheese and thick-cut bacon—each bite bursting with smoky, savory satisfaction. For brunch or a heartier start to the day, the Steak and Eggs and Belgian Waffles offer a comforting blend of flavors and textures that are hard to resist.

Adventurous palates will find delights like the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, a creative spin on the classic sandwich with a crispy exterior and savory, melty filling. The Umami-Dusted Halibut and Lamb Rib Appetizer provide sophisticated flavor profiles that elevate the typical sports bar repertoire. If you prefer lighter fare, the fresh, crisp Wedge Salad and the vibrant Salmon Salad with citrus vinaigrette balance the menu perfectly.

Noteworthy mains such as the indulgent 24-Hour Short Ribs, served with whipped cauliflower and red wine demi-glace, reveal the kitchen’s skill in transforming comfort food into an artful experience. Meanwhile, the Cajun Salmon and Chicken Piccata add a touch of refinement with delicate sauces and expertly prepared sides, keeping the menu both approachable and exciting.

The George also shines in its selection of inventive appetizers and small plates, including the highly recommended Street Corn Nachos and the flavorful Chicken Bites. Pair these with a crafted cocktail like their smooth and invigorating Espresso Martini to round out your visit with a satisfying sip.

Beyond the food, the dining atmosphere at The George is electric and social, embracing the essence of a true sports lounge. Large screens surround the space, ensuring no game goes unnoticed—a feature appreciated by guests like VegasPraiseFoodie, who found themselves immersed in a sea of football excitement from Bears to Steelers. Indoor and outdoor seating options provide flexibility, with the outdoor patio offering a relaxed setting when the Vegas weather is kind, as noted by delighted customers.

The lounge strikes a careful balance between upscale casual and energetic bar vibe. Some visitors have remarked on the lively noise levels and the abundance of screens, which can sometimes be distracting but ultimately contribute to the communal sports-watching spirit. The unique patio chairs add character and fun, though a caution about comfort is shared by those settling in for longer game viewings.

Service at The George sports bar is consistently praised, with staff providing attentive and friendly hospitality that matches the quality of the food. Guests recommend making reservations during peak sports events to secure a prime seat and fully enjoy the atmosphere.

Expect satisfying portions that focus on quality and flavor rather than sheer size, perfect for sharing or savoring on your own. True to its name, The George Sportsmen's Lounge is not just a place to eat but an experience—immersive in sport, rich in taste, and welcoming to all who appreciate great American food served with an energetic twist.

In summary, The George Sportsmen's Lounge offers a flavorful blend of classic and inventive dishes paired with a spirited environment steeped in sports culture. Whether you’re after perfectly executed ribs, a stacked burger, or a lively game day setting, it delivers a memorable experience grounded in good food and good company.

After church I swung by the Durango, walked straight into The George-restaurant was buzzing, every screen had a football game on, Bears, Steelers, Chiefs, Colts, you name it. I zoned out with The Promises of God in my ears, ordered the sesame seared tuna salad. Took it home, opened the box-crisp cabbage, spring mix, edamame, almonds, green onion, avocado, radish, wonton strips, all swimming in sesame dressing with that creamy wasabi drizzle. It’s fresh, crunchy, creamy, spicy, sweet-sweet harmony. If you’re on the west side, get this salad.

The restaurant has plenty of parking. It is located inside the durango stations casino. The restaurant maybe entered directly from the parking lot. The dining area has indoor and outdoor option. The outdoor option is nice when the weather permits. The service is very good. The food was very good

Delicious bites . Cool indoor/outdoor seating area. And although the patio chairs were a really unique and fun experience, they do get a little uncomfortable after being seated so long because you're back and neck dont have much support. I also HIGHLY recommend making a reservation on a busy game day to ensure a spot!

Must Try: Philly Cheesesteak Egg Roll, Street Corn Nachos & Halibut. There’s not too many great 24 hour restaurants in the south west section of Las Vegas but this is one of them. If you’re looking for some bar food but want a slightly less bar looking type of feel, this is the place to go to. I’ve only at here a few times, but every time I tried something new, the food turned out really good. Highlights such as the hummus, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, street corn nachos. The variety of bar food is pretty wide and seems to be great quality all across the board. IF you want a slightly fast service, you can go to the bar which you can also order food. The only downside fall is if they get busy and you’re unable to get their attention. I haven’t sat in the regular restaurant area yet so I can’t describe that service. There’s many different settings you can experience with this place alone. You can either be outdoor watching the game, inside in a regular restaurant seating or the bar area with gambling. All of these locations give you a great view to watch whatever game(s) may be playing at that time. This place is 24 hours but I believe that the outdoor area does close at a certain time. The cool thing about their outdoor area is that they have different types of events at types too like live music such as the dueling piano event. Definitely adds more to than just a regular restaurant.

It's a fancy sports bar. If you know that going in, you'll be fine. If you expect fine dining atmosphere ( which you should expect given the prices) you're going to be disappointed. Because it's apt to be noisy and all the screens are very distracting. Portions are on the small side. Some guys were smoking cigars just outside the entrance which poisoned the air we had to breath.
